What skills and experience we\\\’re looking for

We have an exciting opportunity to appoint an Administration Assistant to join our examinations and data team. The post is part time (0.6) with the flexibility to work 19.5 hours across 3 to 5 days.

The successful person will be working closely with the Examinations Officer and play a key role in supporting the administration and delivery of internal and external examinations. This includes managing candidate entries, timetables, seating plans and results, as well as maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with JCQ and awarding body regulations.

The successful candidate will have strong administrative and IT skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work calmly under pressure during busy exam periods. Experience of working with data systems such as SIMS is desirable, and integrity when handling confidential information is essential. Previous experience in exams administration or within an educational setting is highly desirable.

The successful candidate will be a confident communicator, able to liaise effectively with staff, students, parents, and external agencies. A flexible and proactive approach to work is key, especially during peak exam seasons when a more flexible working pattern and some additional hours may be required.
