We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic & dynamic Assistant Head of Maths teacher who is able to teach the subject across all key stages including A Level. This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a teacher who is ready for career progression or for an existing leader who is looking to join a supportive and innovative team.
The Maths faculty comprises twelve specialist members of staff and is one of the most successful faculties in the School, consistently achieving results that demonstrate extremely good progress at all levels. It is a successful and experienced team, anyone joining would be offered a supportive environment in which to develop as a leader and practitioner. Maths is consistently one of the most popular subjects at A-level. Core Maths and Further Maths are also offered in the Sixth Form. Several students each year progress on to study maths related subjects at higher education institutions.
You would be joining a forward-thinking and creative faculty with a collegiate approach to teaching & learning. The faculty also offers a vibrant and thriving extra-curricular programme such as the regional Maths Challenge Competition. We have over 1400 students on roll with approximately 150 students in the Sixth Form. The school is oversubscribed!
