What skills and experience we're looking for:
- Experience of working within facilities management in an educational or business establishment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff, visitors, contractors, members of the public and the Emergency services.
- Ability to help manage site maintenance budgets and prepare cost estimates and monitor expenditure if required.
- Able to undertake basic administrative tasks including ordering, record keeping, reporting and ordering procedures, if required.
- Ability to work effectively with colleagues at different levels.
- Ability to maintain high standards.
- Pro-active and systematic approach to problem solving.
- Excellent organisational, prioritising and time management skills.
- Have a range of skills and/or experience to undertake various repairs and maintenance tasks within the buildings i.e. plumbing/joinery/construction.
- Ability to work in accordance with the school’s health and safety policies.
- Ability to travel between sites, full driving licence.
Please note that this is a physically demanding role and there will be a requirement to work on the school farm.
