As a Teaching Assistant Level 2(b) at St Paul’s, you will work closely with teachers to support individual pupils and small groups, including those with special educational needs and English as an additional language. Your role will be vital in helping pupils stay engaged, complete tasks, and develop socially and emotionally in a nurturing environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting structured learning activities under teacher guidance
  • Assisting with the personal, social, and emotional development of pupils
  • Helping to monitor and review individual pupil targets
  • Supporting pupils with specific medical or care needs, following training
  • Assisting with classroom administration, behaviour management, and routine assessments
  • Contributing to a vibrant and inclusive learning environment that promotes positive relationships with parents and external agencies
