Midday Supervisory Assistant job summary
We are seeking to appoint a committed, efficient Midday Supervisory Assistant to join our successful team as soon as possible to work 10 hours per week, 11.45 am – 1.45 pm daily, term time only.
The key purpose of the job is to:

  • Safeguard children during the lunchtime period
  • Clearing and tidying away after lunch
  • Distributing lunches to children
  • Encouraging positive play and interaction among the children

You should:

  • Be able to build a strong and appropriate rapport with children;
  • Demonstrate the aptitude to work as part of a successful team;
  • Have effective communication skills;
  • Be able to support children in their play, while maintaining the children\’s safety and following the school\’s behaviour guidelines;
  • Be able to demonstrate good food hygiene practices and follow the school health and safety policies
