Midday Supervisor job summary
We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Midday Supervisor to join our nurturing team. Our Midday Supervisors have an essential role in helping to realise the visions and values set our through our vision statement \’Learn, Reach and Shine\’ .
If you are calm, caring, and have good communication skills and you have experience of working with / caring for young children we would like to hear from you.
The appointed person will be responsible, during all lunchtime breaks, for the supervision, safety, general welfare, enjoyment and conduct of children.
Main duties/responsibilities to include:
Work as part of a nurturing and committed team.
Setting up and clearing away the dining area of any tables and chairs.
The supervision of the children\’s entry into the dining room including using the online meal collection system.
Ensuring dining areas are clean and tidy.
Ensuring all food hygiene systems and procedure are followed
Ensuring relevant training is completed
Ensuring all safeguarding procedures are followed.
Have a good understanding and commitment to equality, diversity and the principles of inclusion.
Have a commitment to the importance of play.
Organising play/games as appropriate.
Supervision of children in the playground or other areas of the school as required, dealing with and reporting any incidents in line with school policies
Assisting children who are unwell.
Administering basic first aid
Prepared to work inside and outside in all weather conditions.
