We are seeking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Modern Foreign Languages Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be able to teach Spanish and/or French across a range of key stages, delivering engaging and high-quality lessons that inspire students to develop a love of languages. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated practitioner who is committed to raising achievement and fostering cultural awareness in the classroom. You will play a key role in supporting students to build confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing in one or both languages.

Essential qualifications and experience:
  • Degree in an appropriate discipline related to the relevant subject
  • Teaching qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Recent and relevant teaching experience (either in employment or training)
  • Experience of assessment at Key Stage 3 and 4
  • Strong computer skills using standard packages (word processing, email, spreadsheets) to enhance student learning
  • Professionalism and ability to relate to students in a pleasant and sympathetic manner, with a capacity to recognise potential child safeguarding issues
