We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Headteacher to join our fantastic team with key strategic and operational responsibilities linked to Curriculum, Teaching & Learning. This is a permanent post on leadership terms, pay scale L9-L13, starting salary £63,070 per annum. There will be a regular teaching commitment of approximately 1.5 days per week.
We are seeking an inspirational and highly skilled Deputy Headteacher with a strong commitment to curriculum quality, teaching excellence and inclusive practice. Working closely with the Headteacher, you will play a key strategic role in shaping the educational direction while remaining firmly rooted in day‑to‑day teaching and learning. In the absence of the Headteacher, the Deputy Headteacher may be asked to take full responsibility for the leadership and management of the school.
Key Responsibilities- Drive high‑quality teaching across all subjects, informed by research and best practice.
