We are looking for a passionate and hardworking Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Limebrook Primary School and Nursery. The ideal candidate will demonstrate good to outstanding practices, be organised, proactive and able to develop good relationships with staff, children and parents in the school. You will deliver a wide range of creative and enjoyable inside and outside activities to ensure a secure and welcoming teaching and learning environment. Role requirements:

  • Providing safe, high quality education and care to Nursery/EYFS children
  • Have high expectations of every pupil
  • Liaise closely with parents/carers ensuring each child's needs are recognised and met
  • Assist with planning of the curriculum, record keeping and data interpretation
  • Administer first aid
  • Set up play areas daily and help to tidy away at the end of the session

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold a CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Child Care and Education, BTEC National Diploma in Early Years, NVQ Level 3 in Children Care, Learning and Development, or NNEB Certificate
  • GCSE in Maths and English C/4 or above
  • Have experience in nursery/EYFS setting
  • Good understanding of the EYFS curriculum
  • Be resilient, flexible and organised
  • Passionate about teaching and learning

Please note that this role is subject to a shift pattern on rotation. Shifts are 7.30am – 3.30pm, 8.00am – 4.00pm and 10.00am – 6.00pm, including a break.
