We are seeking an enthusiastic, well-qualified English Teacher and Literacy Lead to join our welcoming, successful and growing school, starting in September 2026. The role is responsible for developing Literacy and EAL across the school, offering a great opportunity to impact beyond the English team.

Qualities & experience required

  • Skilled, accomplished English Leader and Teacher with a passion for delivering excellent Literacy and English as an Additional Language.
  • Consistently models excellent practice and places students’ academic progress and personal development at the heart of professional motivation.
  • Has the ability and experience to lead and develop other staff, the literacy and EAL curriculum and interventions to ensure strong impact for students.
  • Wants an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant, diverse and growing organisation.
  • Is keen to work collaboratively within the wider English and Communications teams.
