Responsibilities
In addition to your teaching responsibilities, the Director of Learning will be responsible for the learning and achievement of all students in a year group, in line with the school values and ethos. Working closely with SLT, Heads of Department, teachers and pastoral staff, this is a pivotal role that aims at driving attainment, achievement and personal development of students and is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher looking to step into a leadership position. You will ensure high standards of teaching and learning as set out in the curriculum in accordance to departmental and school policy and ensure that the programme of study for each student is appropriate to their ability to achieve the highest level possible.
