We are seeking an exceptional class teacher to join our team at Ealing Primary Centre and lead a small SEMH class (KS1 in the first instance), delivering a highly adaptive, relational curriculum to children who have been excluded or are at risk of exclusion. You will have good, recent experience of working as a teacher in a mainstream or special provision. We particularly welcome applications from teachers with Key Stage 1 and EYFS experience.
The successful candidate will work in Ealing Primary Centre and support pupils with a range of needs, including Social, Emotional, and Mental Health Difficulties. They will:
- Be genuinely committed to working with primary aged pupils who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties and to helping them to successfully engage with learning.
- Have proven experience of successful positive behaviour management skills, using a relational approach, particularly with regard to children with additional needs.
- Be flexible, highly motivated and creative with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Be ready to work in an established multiâdisciplinary team with a range of professionals.
