We are looking for a passionate, skilled and caring individual to support the pastoral care and personal development of students within our school as we work towards academic excellence with inclusivity for all. Each year group is led by a Head of Year (a member of the teaching staff) who are supported by non‑teaching Assistant Heads of Year.
Role Details
- Location: Liskeard School & Community College
- Contract: Permanent
- Salary: Grade F – £25,989 to £28,142 (Actual Salary: approximately £21,732 per annum)
- Hours: 37 hours per week, term time only (38 working weeks per year)
- Start: As soon as possible
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will develop positive professional relationships with groups of students, offering pastoral care and support as we aspire to excellence in learning, behaviour, safeguarding and wellbeing. The pastoral team is supported by clear, predictable school systems and routines, and the successful candidate will be offered a firm foundation to develop their knowledge, skills and expertise.
