The Oakwood Academy have a fantastic opportunity for an excellent teacher to join our Science Faculty in the capacity of Second in Science. The successful candidate will have a proven ability to raise achievement in Science and will work closely with the Head of Faculty and other post holders to develop and implement an aspirational curriculum and raise student achievement.
The post would be an ideal opportunity for someone who is passionate about their subject and has a real interest in developing young people. They will demonstrate an approachable manner, a keen eye for detail and the ability to motivate and manage the behaviour of students. The successful candidate will have the highest expectations of our students and will be keen to develop their practice. The successful candidate should have a track record of positive outcomes at Year 11.
