About this Role
Library Assistant (Part-Time fixed hours, Permanent, Term-Time only)
Monday – Thursday : 12.15pm – 4.30pm
Friday : 12.30pm-3.30pm
Pay Scale : H4, Pay Point : 6
Annual Salary : £11,840.74
We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic Library Assistant to work on a part-time, permanent basis providing a comprehensive Library service to the whole school community. Supervising and assisting students using the library on a daily basis you will work closely with the Librarian in maintaining existing resources, the issue and return of library materials using the Library management system as well as the overseeing of reminders and overdue items, amongst others.
The successful candidate will also be required to supervise Study Club which will include registering students, facilitating private (individual or group) study, together with the responsibility of reporting on attendance and any behaviour issues to SLT members as required.
