St Marys CofE Primary School are looking for a dedicated and proactive individual to join the staffing team as an Attendance Officer and Administrative Assistant. The role combines responsibilities as Attendance Officer within the Inclusion Team and as Administrative Assistant working with the Office Manager.

- Actual Salary £21,764.36 – £23,425.61
- Term Time Only + 2 days, 34.5 Hours Per Week, Fixed Term until August 2027, Required ASAP

Responsibilities
- Improve attendance and punctuality across the school by managing day‑to‑day attendance procedures
- Monitor and analyse attendance of pupils, leading interventions and rewards
- Work with parents and carers to support attendance improvement
- Maintain the smooth running of the school office in collaboration with the Office Manager
Required Skills and Experience
- GCSE or equivalent level, including at least Grade 4 (previously Grade C) in English and Maths
- Experience of working in a school environment or other educational setting
- Effective written and listening skills with an ability to think and work flexibly
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively
