Overview

What skills and experience we\’re looking for
Our new LARP at Fossdene opened its doors in September 2025. We are a 16 place LARP for children with ASD and complex learning needs aged 4-11. This is an exciting opportunity to open the second classroom in our LARP, working as part of a large team in a vibrant setting.

We are looking for an experienced teacher who is looking for a new challenge and is absolutely committed to meeting the needs of our learner. You will be excited about working as part of a team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our children.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced teacher who has :

  • Experience of teaching in a primary school, ideally within a special school or LARP setting.
  • Significant experience of working with children with SEND.
  • Understanding of best practice in working with children with ASD and/or significant learning needs.
  • A desire to make a difference in our community.
  • A commitment to inclusion.
  • A desire to work in a diverse and multicultural setting.
  • Great communication skills
  • Flexibility and a sense of humour
  • Commitment to multi-agency working
