What skills and experience we're looking for:
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare or above
- Experience working with primary‑aged children in KS1 or KS2
- Experience delivering interventions to support pupil progress
- Good understanding of phonics, reading and early maths strategies
- Experience supporting children with SEND or an understanding of inclusive practice
- Good literacy, numeracy and communication skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, parents and carers
- Experience supporting learning through targeted interventions and classroom support
- Skilled interactions to support children’s communication, learning and development
- Confidence using ICT, including iPads, computers and educational apps
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Positive, flexible and reliable approach to work
- High expectations for all pupils and a commitment to inclusion
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
- GCSE English and Maths (Grade C/4 or equivalent)
