Are you passionate about Maths and can deliver high quality lessons and excellent outcomes for pupils? Then come and join a high performing and forward thinking Maths team at Rainhill High School, including Rainhill Sixth. We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic Part time Teacher of Mathematics to join our high-performing team from April 2026.
You will teach KS3 and KS4 Maths, in a forward-thinking school that values innovation, collaboration, and professional growth. This post is offered on a one year fixed term contract to cover a maternity leave and we welcome applications from both experienced & early career teachers.
You will need to have excellent interpersonal skills with a genuine commitment to teaching and the ability to develop our pupils’ love of learning in Mathematics. As a member of Rainhill High School, we expect our staff to embody the following values and attitudes:

- Qualified Teacher Status / QTLS
- Degree in related subject
- Recent participation in relevant In-Service Training
- Professional knowledge and understanding Subject National Curriculum – All Key Stages
- Teaching and Learning strategies
