The aim of the Assistant Head of Year role is to support the Head of Key Stage and the SENDCO in managing the inclusion needs of the Key Stage, promoting high standards of culture, attendance, and academic progress. The Assistant Head of Year will contribute to students' personal development and wellbeing, assist in implementing inclusion initiatives, and work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure a positive and supportive learning environment.
