Mullion School, part of Truro and Penwith Academy Trust, is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to work in our very successful School kitchen. All food is prepared on site and served at morning break and lunchtimes. This post is currently 4.5 hours for one day a week only.
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our friendly school kitchen team. This part-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a busy environment and wants to make a positive difference to our pupils’ school day.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and serving of healthy, nutritious meals to students.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment.
- Wash up and tidy kitchen equipment and dining areas.
- Support the kitchen team with general tasks as needed.
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
