Qualifications
- Hold a recognised degree (or equivalent) with a good classification in a relevant subject teaching qualification (QTS).
- Commitment to own self-development.
- Qualified Teacher Status.
- Willingness to undertake further CPD.
- Ability to teach your subject area up to Key Stage 4.
- Desire to further raise overall achievement in your subject that seeks to promote the highest standards of teaching and learning.

The school offers its staff the opportunity to lead a dedicated Maths department. The role would suit either an existing head of faculty or those who are looking to develop from a Second in Maths/ Lead practitioner or Head of Subject.

As the Head of Maths, you will lead a diverse team of seven, from those that are very experienced to others that are embarking on their first Teach First training. Together the team is passionate about giving our students the best chances in life, and all actively engage in improving themselves as teachers through weekly PD sessions, subject knowledge enhancements, online courses, and exam conferences.
