Overview

We are seeking to appoint Exam Invigilators with the drive to contribute to an atmosphere of respect, recognition, and mutual support within the school. Promoting equality within and valuing the diversity of the school community is essential to our ethos. This role is essential to the smooth running of the examination process. In addition to ensuring correct exam procedures are followed, you will be responsible for setting out and collecting exam papers and materials, admitting students to the exam hall / room and invigilating. Duties may also include reading and scribing for students.

Salary: £13.90 per hour. Contract: Casual. Exam periods only.

Responsibilities

  • Set out and collect exam papers and materials.
  • Admit students to the exam hall/room and invigilate during examinations.
  • Ensure correct exam procedures are followed.
  • Read and/or scribe for students where required.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Extremely well organised with the ability to prioritise workload and meet strict deadlines.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and act as a role model to others.
  • Ability to work within a team environment.
  • Availability to work during the specified exam periods.
  • Be prepared to provide full employment and education history in chronological order and explain any gaps in your application.
