Exciting Opportunities for Early Career Teachers at Primary Schools across Devon and Torbay starting 1st September 2026, initially fixed term until 31st August 2027.

The Academies for Character and Excellence has twenty Primary Schools across Devon. Our ECT program includes receiving excellent ongoing support through those critical early years of the teaching profession. In addition to school-based training and mentorship, ECTs are afforded the opportunity to take part in our own custom-made training program based on the ACE curriculum. Each session has a key focus and is led by a leading practitioner in that field. This training program has proven invaluable to our ECTs who collaborate with each other as they develop best practice.
