At Longley Park Sixth Form, we are seeking a dynamic and inspirational Curriculum Leader in Science to join our Extended Leadership Team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of a thriving, high-achieving department within a values-driven, student-centred college. You will lead a successful and ambitious Science provision comprising:
- A small cohort of Level 2 provision
- A strong offer across A Level sciences
- A well-established Applied Science BTEC pathway
This is a department with consistently exceptional outcomes, where students achieve highly and a significant proportion progress to higher education and aspirational destinations. You will build on this success while helping shape the future of the curriculum as we navigate ongoing national reforms.
As part of the Extended Leadership Team you will:
- Contribute to college-wide strategic planning and decision-making

- Lead innovation in curriculum design, teaching and learning, and assessment
