The Brittons Academy wishes to appoint an enthusiastic Creative Technology Technician to work across the Design and Technology and Art departments. The successful candidate will work as part of a professional team, supporting safe and secure learning through technical assistance and delivery of practical activities. They will be responsible for the preparation and maintenance of equipment and teaching areas.

Requirements

  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team of professionals.
  • Ability to organise workload, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Communication skills to interact with young people and adults.
  • Commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children and young people.
  • An understanding of specific technical health, safety and security issues in schools.
  • Ability to support Design Technology.
