Cover Manager job summary
Larkmead School is seeking applications for the role of Cover Manager.
The successful candidate will have prior experience of working in an administrative environment – although this need not necessarily have been in a school, it would be an advantage. Flexibility, patience and a polite manner are a must for the post-holder. This is a term time only position with some inset days required. Working hours are currently from 7.00am – 12 noon – additional hours may be available.
The post of Cover Manager is responsible for providing organisational, administrative and logistical support to ensure that staff are deployed to provide effective teaching, learning and working. The purpose of the post is to ensure that the highest quality teaching, learning and working takes place, and that the school\’s aims and objectives, as set out in the School Development Plan, are achieved.
