Your Role in Building Brighter Futures
As a Primary Cook at Saltford CofE Primary School you will play a key role in contributing to the delivery of Futura\’s mission statement of \”Building the brightest future for all, enabling every individual to flourish\”. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about living our values and making a positive impact on all the young people in our Trust.
As a Primary Cook your purpose will be:
- Supporting the Catering Manager in adopting the Trust Zest Catering menus to the requirement of the school, with consideration of cost and nutritional standards.
- Ensuring that all food is produced as per the menu using costed recipes and that there are sufficient quantities to meet the service requirements.
- Identifying stock requirements and place orders using nominated suppliers.
- Ensuring that all food at the point of services is to the required standard.
What You\’ll Bring to Futura
Education/Qualifications
- Sound Level of Secondary Education
- Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate
Experience
- Previous Catering experience.
- Previous Catering experience within schools or college environment.
- Knowledge of health and safety and good hygiene practice in the kitchen through. the Holding of a current Level 2 award in Food safety and Hygiene.
