We have an opening for a Teacher of Computing/ICT. The successful candidate will join a team who are dedicated to empowering our pupils to excel and achieve whilst expanding their horizons in a nurturing environment.

Our school is St Aidan’s Catholic Academy, a Catholic learning community for boys aged 11-18. We teach Computing and ICT at KS3, KS4 and KS5. Our ethos is rooted in the values: Hard Work, Trust and Fairness, and we expect pupils to demonstrate moral purpose, personal responsibility, integrity, honesty and respect for others.

Responsibilities

  • Teach Computing and ICT at KS3, KS4 and KS5 within a thriving department.
  • Engage and manage pupils who are polite, impeccably behaved and engaged in class.
  • Contribute to high‑quality teaching, mastery of knowledge, and partnerships with parents and the local community.

Qualifications

  • Well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher eligible to teach Computing/ICT at KS3, KS4 and KS5.
  • Commitment to high‑quality teaching and pupil development within a values‑driven school.

The position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act. A satisfactory Enhanced DBS check is required as part of pre‑employment checks. An online search will be completed for all shortlisted candidates. We follow Keeping Children Safe in Education guidance. Offers may be subject to relevant checks including: DBS, medical, right to work, references, and suitability to work with children.
