We are seeking to appoint an experienced and compassionate teacher to lead our highly successful provision. HIVE family of schools works in partnership with the Local Authority to support students across mid Essex for whom the transition to mainstream secondary is a significant challenge. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled, kind and dedicated teacher. The successful candidate will be central to ensuring that students who are most vulnerable on transition are successful.

In order to do this, we are seeking an individual who has:

  • Both resilience and hopefulness in abundance
  • An excellent understanding of teaching and learning
  • A deep appreciation for the importance of connection and belonging
  • Experience of leadership
  • A determination to build spirit and develop emotional strength in young people
  • A willingness to develop outreach work within KS3 settings

The successful leader will work closely with the CEO to continue to develop this provision’s standing within the mid Essex community of schools. Students will each have a bespoke programme of transition built around them in conjunction with their Secondary school in order to fully support their success in mainstream at KS3.
