Essential experience and characteristics:
- All staff are expected to follow the school’s child protection procedures and promote children’s well-being and self-esteem.

- All staff are expected to be committed to continuous professional development and to apply a reflective approach to their practice.
- Excellent literacy and numeracy skills, proficiency in ICT, and experience teaching the current Primary National Curriculum.
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to work with children of all abilities and needs, leading reasonable adaptations where required.
- Evidence of excellent working relationships with children, staff, parents and governors, and a flexible, collaborative approach.
