Essential experience and characteristics:

  • All staff are expected to be committed to continuous professional development and to apply a reflective approach to their practice.
  • Excellent literacy and numeracy skills, proficiency in ICT, and experience teaching the current Primary National Curriculum.
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to work with children of all abilities and needs, leading reasonable adaptations where required.
  • Evidence of excellent working relationships with children, staff, parents and governors, and a flexible, collaborative approach.
  • Commitment to the community-focused ethos of the school and active contribution to wider school life.
