Being a successful member of the Beddington Infants’ School team requires a very good understanding of how young children learn. Our innovative provision is designed to offer children the best possible opportunities to develop academically while also developing as individuals. Our integrated broad and balanced curriculum inspires our children to engage with a journey of personal development while developing a love of learning. We learn from and with our children, involving them in evaluating the success of our provision. Although our children are aged between 2 and 7 years, they have a wealth of understanding about how we learn. Children and adults learn inside and outside every day. Our all-weather suits, worn over children’s coats, ensure that we are warm and dry in all weathers. The school is a founder member of the Sutton Education Trust, a successful co‑operative of seven schools working together to provide excellent opportunities for children, families and staff.
