We are seeking a dedicated Pastoral Officer to work under the direction of the Pastoral Managers and Senior Leadership Team, supporting a strong whole-school culture of positive behaviour, high attendance and safeguarding. The role involves coordinating aspects of the Pastoral Team’s work, acting as a key point of contact for pupils, families and external agencies, and working proactively to improve attendance and behaviour. The post-holder will promote positive attitudes towards education and ensure parents understand their statutory responsibilities. The role includes undertaking unsupervised home visits to identify barriers to attendance and support pupils to return to full-time education where appropriate.
