We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated and committed professional as a Teacher of Technology with specialism in Food to join our forward-thinking team to cover maternity leave from September 2026 for the full academic year. The successful candidate will be an inspiring practitioner able to generate excitement and enthusiasm for learning and teaching Technology. Practice in Technology has been driven by evidence-based research and has led to innovative practice to reinforce learning.
The DEFT Faculty is well led and managed and has developed an excellent reputation, driving up standards and securing achievement for all through innovation and creative approaches to learning.

We are an 11-18 mixed comprehensive school that has outstanding facilities and a state-of-the-art learning environment; we are extremely popular and oversubscribed. The school is within easy reach of Leeds, Huddersfield and Wakefield. We offer an outstanding ECT induction programme and would welcome applications from ECTs or experienced teachers who are able to teach across the ability range.
