Ley Top Primary School is on an exciting journey and is looking to recruit an exceptional Attendance and Inclusion Lead who has a big heart that they can use to support our families who have children with additional needs and challenge those where attendance is not yet good enough. Ley Top Primary School welcomes children aged 3 to 11 years old and is committed to giving every child an irresistible education. The school has a team of dedicated colleagues who care about each child and families’ journey through the school. We are committed to ensuring the highest level of attendance of every child, regardless of background or need, so that they are able to benefit from the school’s developing curriculum. Where attendance is not good enough, we want to support children and families to improve attendance as quickly as possible so that no child misses out on their learning.

We have just recruited a transformative SENDCo to ensure that children with additional needs and their families have the best opportunities to realise their potential. You will support with the organisation of meetings as well as supporting with the administration involved in ensuring every child receives everything they need. We are committed to working in partnership with families and the wider services, learning from and sharing good practice, being outward facing as an organisation to ensure the best results. We are currently working with the RISE Attendance and Behaviour Hub so our new Attendance Lead will have the best support available in order to be successful and build their career.
