We are looking for a candidate who has a strong background in safeguarding, attendance monitoring, and family engagement. The ideal applicant will be able to build collaborative relationships with families, SENDCo, Learning Mentor, and senior leaders to provide a holistic support system for pupils.
As a Family Safeguarding and Attendance Officer, you will provide high-quality support to identified pupils and families, working in collaboration with the SENDCo, Learning Mentor and Senior Leaders. You will take a lead role in providing high quality and effective safeguarding and pastoral support across the school, maintaining accurate records and working with colleagues, pupils, parents and external agencies to ensure appropriate plans and strategies are in place to support pupils and their families. You will promote a positive attendance culture and intervene early with families to ensure pupil's attendance does not decline. You will be solution focused and forge strong working relationships with all stakeholders.
