Northern Education Trust, The Blyth Academy is seeking to appoint a Teacher of Maths. The successful candidate will set high expectations that inspire, motivate and challenge pupils, promote good progress and outcomes by demonstrating strong subject and curriculum knowledge, planning and delivering well-structured lessons, and adapting instruction to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils.
The role requires effective use of assessment, behaviour management to create a safe learning environment, and the fulfilment of wider professional responsibilities.
Qualifications and requirements
The post holder will be engaged in regulated activity, working mainly or wholly with children. This position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. It is an offence to apply for this role if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.
