As a General Kitchen Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth running of the school kitchen and ensuring pupils receive nutritious, high‑quality meals in a safe and welcoming environment. Working with the catering team, you will assist with food preparation, serving, and maintaining hygiene standards throughout the kitchen and dining areas.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the preparation and serving of meals.
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas.
- Washing up and ensuring all equipment is cleaned and stored correctly.
- Supporting the catering team with daily tasks and following health & safety guidelines.
- Complying with food safety standards at all times.
- Setting up and dismantling dining furniture.
We are looking for candidates who:
