Overview
Wrotham Road Primary School are looking for a hardworking, flexible member of staff to join their Catering Team as an Assistant Cook. The post will be for 22.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9.15am – 1.45pm for 38 weeks per year. You will be paid £25,252 Full time equivalent, actual pro rata salary of £13,042.48 per year.

You will work with the Catering Manager to lead the kitchen team to provide an efficient food service to pupils, and you will play an essential part in ensuring our food service is the best that it can be.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Catering Manager to lead the kitchen team and provide an efficient food service to pupils and staff.
- Carry out basic food preparation, serving pupils and staff, and washing up.
- Help to keep the kitchen clean, tidy and safe.
- Undertake training as required (training paid; uniform provided).
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience of working in a kitchen environment is desirable but not essential.
- Flexible and adaptable with varied duties.
- Willing to engage in ongoing training and development.
