The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
We are looking for a well-qualified and enthusiastic Head of History to lead our growing History Department. To be successful in this role you will have:
- QTS
- Degree level qualification (subject specific)
- Able to teach full range of ability 11-16
- Able to maintain high standards of discipline
- Able to use a range of strategies to promote learning
- Able to manage and encourage good behaviour
- Able to develop positive and meaningful relationships with students
- Able to make appropriate use of ICT for learning
- Understanding of how to use data to inform planning and improve students’ performance
- Understanding of a range of assessment for learning approaches, including grades where appropriate
- Able to communicate with students, parents and carers about pupil’s progress

Consequently, academic results have improved significantly since the school re-opened in 2016 and the last OFSTED inspection (2024) graded the school as good in every category.
