Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work where you can still make a difference? At Teaching Tomorrow, we work with schools across Bedfordshire, supporting them with their Teaching Assistant needs. We are currently working with schools across the Biggleswade and Sandy area on a variety of roles from daily cover to potential long-term positions. This is a fantastic opportunity to become a valued part of a school community, supporting children’s development in a consistent, nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing engaging and age-appropriate activities to support children’s learning and development.
  • Creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment.
  • Building strong relationships with children, parents, and nursery staff.
  • Following nursery policies and safeguarding procedures to ensure children’s safety and well-being.
  • Observing and recording children’s progress and sharing insights with the nursery team.

Requirements:

  • Teaching Assistant experience
  • Comfortable across the national UK curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual students

Teaching Tomorrow is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All applicants are subject to pre-employment checks including satisfactory references and an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975, 2013 and 2020.
