Are you a passionate Science Teacher looking for flexible work in secondary schools? We are seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable Science Supply Teacher at Teaching Tomorrow to support schools across Northampton with daily cover, short-term assignments, and longer-term placements. This is a great opportunity for teachers who enjoy variety, want to broaden their experience, and make a positive impact in the classroom without the commitment of a permanent role. Both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and Key Stage 5 where required).
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, creating a safe and positive environment for learning.
  • Support students in developing their scientific knowledge, practical skills, and curiosity.
  • Adapt quickly to different school environments while maintaining high teaching standards.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Recent teaching experience in a secondary school, ideally within Science.
  • Strong subject knowledge and the ability to engage learners of all abilities.
  • Good classroom management and adaptability.
  • A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
