We are looking to support primary schools and nurseries across Northampton and other areas in Northamptonshire with highly skilled and caring professionals. Working with us means becoming part of a supportive team committed to nurturing young minds during their most important developmental years.
As a flexible supply Early Years Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining high standards of care and education in various nursery settings across Northamptonshire. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy variety in their work and want to make a positive impact on children’s early learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing engaging and age-appropriate activities to support children’s learning and development.
- Creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment.
- Building strong relationships with children, parents, and nursery staff.
- Following nursery policies and safeguarding procedures to ensure children’s safety and well-being.
- Observing and recording children’s progress, sharing insights with the nursery team.
Requirements:
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education
- Strong and successful Nursery and early years teaching experience
- Comfortable covering lessons across the national UK curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual students
