Teaching Tomorrow, a receptable local teaching agency with a collective of 45 years experience, are looking for committed and versatile PE Supply Teachers to join our team in and around Dunstable and Leighton Buzzard. Teaching Tomorrow are seeking enthusiastic qualified, ECTs, FE educators & overseas qualified teachers who are eager to make a difference in the lives of young learners while having a work life balance. As a PE supply teacher for Teaching Tomorrow, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our vibrant educational environments and grow both personally and professionally. The supply work will commence from the new academic year, covering across key stage 2 up, with flexible short-term and daily supply available. Key Responsibilities: – Deliver engaging and effective teaching with PE, sports and possibly general cover, across various year groups. – Adapt quickly to different settings and school environments. – Implement lesson plans provided by the regular teacher or create stimulating lessons as needed. – Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere, ensuring all students are supported and encouraged. – Assess and monitor students’ progress, providing constructive feedback to aid their academic growth. Requirements: – Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent – Comfortable covering lessons across national UK curriculum – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual students – Enthusiasm for promoting health and wellbeing among young people.
