Teaching Tomorrow are working closely with a number of supportive schools and specialist provisions who are seeking passionate and adaptable SEN Teachers with QTS to work across Primary and Secondary settings. This is a rewarding opportunity for teachers who are committed to making a real difference to pupils with additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, Speech & Language needs, and complex learning difficulties. Whether you’re an experienced SEN Teacher or a mainstream teacher looking to transition into SEN, we would love to hear from you.
The Role
- Teaching small groups or delivering 1:1 support
- Planning and adapting lessons to meet individual learning needs
- Supporting pupils with EHCP targets and personalised learning plans
- Creating a safe, structured and nurturing environment
- Working closely with SENDCOs, support staff and external agencies
- Building positive relationships with pupils to support learning and emotional development
We’re Looking For
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Experience working with SEN pupils in a UK school environment (desirable, not essential)
- A calm, patient and proactive approach
- Strong classroom management and behaviour support strategies
- A genuine passion for supporting children and young people with additional needs
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
