Teaching Tomorrow is looking for confident, enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to work across a variety of welcoming primary schools throughout Bedfordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced Cover Supervisors, Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs), aspiring teachers, or education professionals looking for flexible work within local schools.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play an important role in ensuring continuity of learning during teacher absences. You'll deliver pre-planned lessons, maintain a positive and productive classroom environment, and support pupils in achieving their learning objectives across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

Key Responsibilities:- Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of the class teacher.
- Deliver pre-planned lessons and learning activities across a range of primary year groups.
- Maintain a positive, engaging and inclusive classroom environment.
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with each school's behaviour policy.
- Support pupils with their learning, encouraging participation and independence.
- Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil engagement and lesson outcomes.
- Adapt confidently to different schools, classrooms and age groups.
- Uphold safeguarding procedures and promote the wellbeing of all pupils.
- Previous experience working in a UK primary school or educational setting.
- Experience managing groups of children is desirable.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- A flexible, organised and proactive approach.
- Confidence working independently and adapting to different school environments.
- A genuine passion for supporting children's education and development.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
