We are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic, and caring individual to join our Afterschool Club team on a temporary basis from 1st June 2026 to 17th June 2026. The successful candidate will help provide a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children attending the afterschool provision.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support children during afterschool club sessions.
- Plan and deliver fun, stimulating, and age-appropriate activities.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children at all times.
- Encourage positive behaviour and inclusion.
- Prepare and tidy activity areas and resources.
- Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and carers where required.
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and school policies and procedures.
Essential Requirements
- Applicants must hold one of the following qualifications:
- Level 3 Playworker qualification
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Level 3 Childcare Practitioner qualification
Skills and Experience
- Experience working with primary-aged children.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A positive, energetic, and professional attitude.
- Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities.
- Ability to create a fun and supportive environment for children.
