A welcoming and supportive primary school based in the south of Salisbury are seeking a confident and experienced Year 3 Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This is a full-time position and would suit a teacher who is confident leading a Key Stage 2 classroom and able to quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff. The school is looking for someone with strong classroom presence who can effectively support pupils with SEN needs and behavioural challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and structured lessons to a Year 3 class
- Maintain strong classroom management and behaviour strategies
- Support pupils with a range of SEN and additional needs
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and the wider school team
- Option to take on planning and full teaching responsibilities, depending on experience and preference
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 3
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Experience supporting children with SEN and behavioural needs
- A confident, proactive, and flexible approach to teaching
