Amesbury Archer Primary School is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Year 3 Class Teacher to join their wonderful school community from after the February half-term for the remainder of the academic year. Amesbury Archer is a thriving two-form entry primary school for pupils aged 4-11, proudly part of the Magna Learning Partnership. They are rated “Good” by Ofsted, with inspectors highlighting our inclusive ethos, strong relationships, high expectations and focus on preparing pupils for later life. They are a welcoming, friendly and forward-thinking community, committed to providing a rich, stimulating and inclusive curriculum that supports all learners to thrive academically, socially and emotionally. The staff work closely with families and each other to ensure strong partnerships and excellent support for pupils' wellbeing and development.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have proven experience in Lower KS2
  • Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills
  • Show resilience, imagination and a creative approach to teaching
  • Be passionate about delivering high-quality, inclusive education
  • Hold a current DBS on the Update Service
