We are currently seeking a reliable and organised School Administration Assistant to support a secondary school from September 2026, working through our education supply agency. This role is ideal for someone with previous school or office‑based administrative experience who enjoys working in a busy educational environment and supporting teaching staff and pupils.
Responsibilities:
- Providing front‑office and administrative support within the school
- Managing phone calls, emails, and visitor sign‑in
- Supporting attendance records, student data, and filing systems
- Assisting teaching and pastoral staff with day‑to‑day admin tasks
- Using school systems such as SIMS/Arbor (desirable, not essential)
Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous administrative experience (school experience preferred)
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
- Right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)
